3. 2. 1. Hello world! Christmas came one month early for my Mom and Dad. I just got here, and my name is Ivy Gerritsen. Mom and Dad are helping me write this. I wanted to be the youngest person in the world with my own website, even if I can only make this claim for a short time. Since today at 3:21 pm MST is my official birthday, I think it’s safe to make that claim. Pretty cool huh? I weighed in at 6 lbs and 8 oz, and was 20.5 inches. My Mom and I are both doing well.
Mom and Dad told me that I’m a rainbow baby. That’s when your older sibling didn’t live when they were born. My brother Tanner was stillborn. I’m also an IVF baby. Dad had to give Mom lots and lots of shots to help me get here. I know a lot of people were worried about me making it here ok. Luckily I made it here safe and I’m glad to be here.
Well I’m tired. I’ve got to rest so that I can adjust to this crazy world. Mom and Dad told me that all our family and friends are so nice. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers for our family. I can’t wait to see you all soon. Have a great day!
